We're looking for a Python-focused, product-minded engineer who thrives at the intersection of user experience, backend systems, and modern AI. You’ll ship production-ready features every week and work across the stack—whether that’s building semantic search APIs, crafting lightweight React UIs, or evolving infrastructure with Terraform.

What You’ll Work On:
  • Design and implement scalable backend APIs in Python (or Go/Rust), leveraging Firestore and Cloud Run.
  • Build intelligent product experiences using LLMs, semantic search, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
  • Contribute React components for dashboards and workflows—clean, pragmatic UI code when needed.
  • Optimize performance and infrastructure — tune queries, reduce cold starts, trim bundles, and refine CI/CD.
  • Collaborate on DevOps and security — manage secrets, write Terraform modules, and strengthen observability.
  • Work across product areas in one sprint, you may refine buyer flows; the next, improve AI-powered search.

You Might Thrive Here If You…
  • Have 2–3 years of experience shipping real-world web apps.
  • Are strongest in Python, Go, or Rust, and are comfortable working in React.
  • Understand NoSQL data modeling, Firestore indexing, and trade-offs in document DBs.
  • Have experience with or curiosity about LLMs, semantic search, and modern AI workflows.
  • Are familiar with Docker, cloud-native services, and basic monitoring/logging.
  • Communicate clearly in English (bonus for Japanese).
  • Thrive in small teams, with fast iteration, evolving specs, and feature ownership.

Bonus Points For
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud: Cloud Run, IAM, Pub/Sub.
  • Familiarity with Firebase Auth and Firestore security rules.
  • Background in marketplaces, logistics, or payment systems.
  • Experience with React Native or mobile dev.
  • Contributions to open-source or technical writing.
