As a QA Trainee, you’ll work closely with our QA team to learn the fundamentals of both manual and automated testing. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in Quality Assurance with hands-on training, real project exposure, and guidance from experienced mentors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing and executing manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Learn and help with test automation scripts under guidance
- Support the QA team in identifying, reporting, and verifying bugs using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers and product team members to understand project requirements
- Document testing results, steps, and observations clearly
- Participate in QA meetings and sprint discussions
- Stay curious and updated on QA trends, tools, and testing approaches
Skills & Requirements:
- Recently completed or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development and QA concepts
- Interest in manual and automated testing
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with any scripting or programming language (optional but a plus)
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, Postman, or Selenium is a plus
