What You’ll Work On
  • Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Python.
  • Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Run.
  • Design and implement solutions leveraging Firebase and Firestore.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cloud-based solutions.
  • Apply best practices in cloud architecture, security, and performance optimization.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.

You Might Thrive Here If You 
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with direct experience in:
  1. Cloud Run
  2. Firebase
  3. Firestore
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Have tinkered with LLMs/RAG/semantic search (or are hungry to dive in fast).
  • Communicate clearly in English (Japanese a bonus). 
  • Enjoy small-team velocity, imperfect specs, and wearing multiple hats.

Nice-to-Haves 
  • Experience with Java or Go programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Agents.
  • Experience leveraging Google Vertex AI for AI/ML applications.
