About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Nest.js and PostgreSQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building backend APIs that support mobile applications, with exposure to multi-tenant architectures.
You’ll work closely with frontend and mobile developers to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Nest.js
  • Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for mobile applications
  • Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling, queries, and performance optimization
  • Implement and maintain multi-tenant architectures
  • Ensure API security, authentication, and authorization
  • Collaborate with mobile and frontend teams to support application features
  • Debug, test, and maintain existing backend systems
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Nest.js (or strong Node.js experience with willingness to learn Nest.js)
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL
  • Prior experience working with multi-tenancy (schema-based, database-based, or row-based)
  • Experience building APIs that support mobile applications (Android/iOS)
  • Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes
  • Basic knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Docker or containerized applications
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of performance optimization and caching strategies
  • Experience with ORMs like TypeORM or Prisma
