Event Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing weddings and events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and timeline management.
- Support client communications, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and implemented effectively.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including transportation, accommodations, and guest services.
- Assist with budget management, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Assist in the creation of event proposals, contracts, and other related documents.
- Provide on-site support during events, managing set-up, breakdown, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, venues, and vendors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional client experiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software/tools.
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is a plus.
