Key Responsibility
  • LLM-Powered Systems: Help design, build, and deploy AI workflows such as RAG pipelines, LLM-based agents, tool-using agents (function calling / MCP), and multi-step reasoning workflows.
  • NLP & Transformers: Work with tokenization, embeddings, sequence models, transformers, and evaluation of NLP tasks across various domains. A strong conceptual understanding is mandatory.
  • Vector Search & Knowledge Stores: Implement and optimize hybrid search using vector stores (Milvus, Weaviate, Chroma, or pgvector) and experiment with graph-style retrieval when needed.
  • Model Evaluation: Set up repeatable evaluation pipelines (prompt benchmarks, latency/accuracy metrics) to ensure improvements are measurable and reproducible.
  • Prototype → Production: Build quick proof-of-concepts, then convert them into clean, production-ready services.
  • Debugging & Code Quality: Review AI-generated code, debug model behavior and pipeline issues, and write clean, maintainable, well-structured Python.
  • Infrastructure Basics: Use Git/GitHub for version control, work in Linux environments, and containerize workloads for consistent deployment.
  • Learning & Adaptation: Proactively explore unfamiliar AI topics (vision, RAG variations, agent frameworks, new open or closed-source models) and contribute insights and improvements to the team.
Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of Python, data structures, and debugging fundamentals.
  • Strong grasp of:
  1. NLP fundamentals
  2. Transformers
  3. LLM/VLM concepts
  4. RAG (retrieval, embeddings, chunking, query expansion, reranking)
  5. Agents & tool-calling
  6. MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • Hands-on experience (projects, coursework, or self-taught) in at least one deep-learning framework (PyTorch preferred).
  • Comfortable with:
  1. Docker
  2. FastAPI
  3. PostgreSQL
  4. Git/GitHub
  5. Basic Linux commands
  • Ability to review, debug, and refine AI-generated code.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-friendly Python code.
  • Strong willingness to learn unfamiliar topics quickly (e.g., NLP → Vision → Agents as needed).
  • Good understanding of ML fundamentals: model training, evaluation metrics, overfitting, embeddings, vector search, etc.
  • Problem-solving mindset: doesn’t complain unnecessarily; explains alternatives, proposes solutions, and looks for ways forward.
  • System Understanding: understands how frontend, backend, databases, and cloud services work together in a full-stack AI/ML deployment.
  • Adaptable Mindset: Open to candidates from diverse educational or professional backgrounds, provided they are willing and able to learn new technologies, domains, and project-specific requirements quickly.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with vector databases (Milvus, Weaviate, Chroma, pgvector).
  • Exposure to LLM tooling (OpenAI, HuggingFace, vLLM, LangChain, LiteLLM, Ollama).
  • Exposure to agentic frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, n8n).
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure: hands-on experience or conceptual knowledge.
  • Personal, academic, or open-source projects using LLMs, NLP, or computer vision.
  • Understanding of computer vision concepts.
