What You’ll Work On
  • Develop and deploy LLM-powered agents that classify inquiries, ask clarifying questions, and generate estimates using tools like RAG pipelines and function calling.
  • Build and fine-tune semantic search over Firestore and Weaviate, leveraging knowledge graphs when beneficial.
  • Establish consistent model evaluation with reliable benchmarks, offline/online metrics, and automated regression tests.
  • Prototype in notebooks and convert successful concepts into clean, tested production services using Cloud Run (primarily FastAPI, with occasional Go or Rust).
  • Work closely with product and design teams to deliver end-to-end features. 

You’ll Probably Thrive Here If You Have
  • 2–3 years’ experience building ML or data-heavy systems (industry or advanced studies).
  • Write clean Python and are fluent in at least one deep-learning framework (PyTorch preferred; JAX/TensorFlow also welcome). 
  • Strong math skills to debug model or retrieval issues.
  • Experience with modern LLM tools (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.) or equivalent personal projects.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Eager to build and implement ML best practices from the ground up.

Bonus Points
  • Proficient with Google Cloud AI services, including Vertex AI, TPUs, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
  • Experienced in fine-tuning and distilling language models, especially for multilingual applications.
  • Skilled in operating vector databases like Weaviate and using evaluation tools.
  • Published technical blog posts or contributed to open-source projects.
  • Familiar with Go or Rust for developing high-performance data pipelines.
